You can check back here when you need to find out if there is something to remember this month.

If your required remittance due date falls on a holiday or weekend, it is due the next business day.  Government agencies recognize the date of process as the payment date.

If you do on-line banking, make sure that you confirm your payment.  The government will penalize for late payments regardless of your intent.

The calendar includes annual statutory holidays.  As of 2008, there was the addition of Family Day in February bringing the total annual statutory holidays to nine:

The first Monday in August is not a statutory holiday.  If your business remains closed on that day, you are not obligated to pay statutory holiday pay.
